Perma batcap
Perma batcap is an innovative Bat head covering device for research. The device is made of a closed nylon net with an elastic opening. Elastic opening serves as entrance and stretches to expand and releases to close on the neck region of bats. This device is particularly useful for amateur scientist, students and people who handle bats for research and other purposes. Its ease of use makes it an important tool for mostly students in bat handling.
The device is at its prototype stage. Few experiments conducted with the device on bats proved very successful and WildSpecies foundation is seeking more funding to conduct further test to improve on the design and material of this device. We plan to collaborate with environmental agencies to make it available to all amateur bat researchers world-wide especially academic institutions.
