MEET OUR STAFF
Ir. Martin Kusi Manu
Founder and Executive Director (2021-2022)
Ir. Martin Kusi Manu is a mid-career Ecologist and a GIScientist with experience in Forestry, Wildlife Conservation and GIS/Remote Sensing. Martin has an array of experience volunteering as research assistant in two conservation NGOs and as a project manager from Ghana Wildlife Society.
Miss Akua Osaa Awuah
Project officer
Miss Osaa has experience in forest restoration and research. She volunteered as a research assistant with Tropenbos Ghana and Crop Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-CRI). She has a Master’s degree in Silviculture and Forest Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management all from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.
Theodore Osei Asimeng
Executive Director (2022-Present)
Mr Asimeng-Osei has a bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He worked as a supervisor after his bachelor’s education at the Forestry Commission’s Youth in Afforestation Project where he supervised various afforestation projects.
Mrs. Hellen Marfo
Project Officer
Mrs. Hellen holds a degree in Forest Resources Technology with majors in Ecotourism and Forest Recreation at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. She served as a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Ecotourism and Forest Recreation at KNUST, where she promoted sustainable management strategies for Ghana’s forest resources aimed at preserving biodiversity.
Moses Elleason
Project officer
Moses is interested in developing wildlife habitat management strategies that align conservation objectives with the needs of local communities. His experience includes working with the Threatened Species Conservation Alliance (THRESCOAL) on crocodile conservation efforts in Ghana, and collaborating with NORC at the University of Chicago on deforestation-free research in the region.
